Now that December is here, it feels like winter has officially arrived. Winter in my books begins with this festive month, bringing with it the promise of cozy moments and festive cheer. Despite the challenges, I am eagerly looking forward to what is often described as a 'gloomy' and 'dark' season. Why? Because there's a unique charm to winters in Scotland.


 

Every September, I make it a point to visit an apple orchard, and this year, I kept the tradition alive with my baby girl by my side. There's this one orchard I go to every Autumn, and I'll share more about it in a bit. On a sunny day, strolling through the orchard is just perfect, and there's nothing like the taste of freshly plucked apples – it's pure luxury!
